This was a proud brother moment for me. My sister Paula, born with Down Syndrome, speaks at the Synagogue in 2019. This video clip shows her just after she read the Hebrew portion of the Torah (Old Testament) of that week’s service.
She not only breaks down the actual lesson, but gives her perspective. It is simple really and it is a lesson that describes some of the issues that plague white culture. One is the issue of Anti-Black Racism.
The other is the issue of jealousy that I discuss in my book may be a contributing factor to or racism. Food for thought and a simple way to be reminded of the beauty of life when we overcome these issues.
